W2W will provide pictures and text messages during each visit. You are always welcome to call us and ask for details as well.
Much like the postal service, whether there is rain or shine, we’ll be there. We will not walk if there is, hail, lightning, or tornados nearby, or if the temperature is below 50 or above 90 for the sake of your pet as well as the walker. We don’t want to put your dog or our walkers at risk. In those weather/temperature conditions, we will give them a quick potty break. For the rest of the visit, we will give your dog quality time.
Wags to Whiskers requires full payment prior to the assignment. We accept cash, check, Venmo or Zelle only.
W2W will set up a mutually agreed-upon date/time to have a meet and greet at your home. This meeting is complimentary. If both parties agree that it is a good fit, we will ask for your house key at that time.
We specialize in caring for dogs and cats. Other animals may be considered and discussed at the meet and greet.
Yes, we not only carry liability insurance, but we are bonded as well.
No, W2W has a strict policy that requires that all pets remain in your home while we are caring for them. We do not want your pet to be exposed to predators, diseases, or vehicles.
You will sign a release, in your paperwork, allowing your sitter to transport your pet to the vet’s or if after hours, the emergency vet. You will need to let your vet know that you will be leaving your pet in a sitter’s care. Our sitter will contact you as soon as possible, once it is determined that your pet is ill or injured and keep you informed about their condition.

With her passion for animals, she just couldn’t stand to board her own dogs and wanted other pet parents to have a different option as well.
Today, we have grown and no longer have big hair, but do offer a full range of services including dog & cat drop in visits, pet transportation, dog walking, vet visits, special events and more. Just ask, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We are bonded, insured First Aid & CPR trained.
